Brief Overview of Cement Making Line

The cement manufacturing process consists of raw material grinding, blending, pre-calcining, clinker burning and cement grinding. In short, limestone and other materials containing calcium, silicon, aluminum and iron oxides are crushed and ground into a raw meal. This raw meal is blended and then heated in the pre-heating system (cyclones) to start the dissociation of calcium carbonate to oxide. The meal goes further into the kiln for heating and reaction between calcium oxide and other elements to form calcium silicates and aluminates at t a temperature up to 1450 cent degree: so called clinker burning. The cyclone system is attached to the rotary kiln by a riser duct. Secondary fuel is fed to the riser duct, the main fuel mixture, coal/petcock, fires the kiln. Reaction products leave the kiln as a nodular material called clinker. The clinker will be underground with gypsum and other materials to cement.

The equipment of cement production line

The cement production line equipments include: cement rotary kiln, cyclone preheater, and grate cooler. Cement rotary kiln is the main equipment for calcining cement clinker, and has been widely used in cement, metallurgy, chemical and other industries. It is composed of cylinder, bearing device, belt wheel support device, transmission device, flexible kiln head, sealing device, burning device and other components. The advantages of this rotary kiln are: simple structure, reliable operation and easy to operation.

Cement ball mill is mainly applied to mill the finished products and raw materials of cement factory; it is also widely used for grinding ores and grind-able materials in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power and other industrial and mining enterprises. It is not only suitable for open flow grinding, but also close-circuit grinding after combine with separator. The cement mill has the characteristics: strong adaptability, continuous production, high compression ratio, and easy to adjust the grinding fineness. It can be not only used for dry production and wet production, but also grinding and drying at the same time. The drying raw material can become the cement after the treatment of Cement making machine. The following step will use the important equipment: rotary kiln. As we all know, the cement after the cement mill is still raw, that is, the cement and water are separated from each other, and they cannot be mixed together. Here we will deal with raw cement through cement rotary kiln in order to get semi-finished cement.

During the process of the cement production, the cement making machine needs 3 tons of grinding materials at least (including all kinds of raw materials, fuel, clinker, mixture, plaster) to produce 1 tons of silicate. According to the statistics, the dry method to produce cement needs to consume the energy more than 60% that of the whole factory, with the raw materials grinding more than 30%, the coal grinding about 3%, the cement grinding about 40%. Therefore, reasonable choice of grinding equipment and process, the optimization of process parameters, correct operation and the controlling of operation system are significant to improve the quality and reduce the energy consumption.
