I'm about the Weight Loss Reviews Watchers program, and writing down all you eat is really a key to slimming down. This is true for anybody, not just those on Weightwatchers. The accountability of writing down your food consumption allows you to conscious of the amount of food you're putting into your body. Typically, we eat a whole lot more than we understand. Writing it down in a food diary is a great reality check.
