The flotation cell is a kind of equipment which is mainly used in the flotation separating process. The working principle of the flotation cell is as follows.
When the flotation cell works, along with the rotation of the impeller, the pulp in the cell will be sucked from the bottom of the impeller to the inside of the impeller. At the same time, the low-pressure air given by the blower will pass the hollow shaft and the air distributor of the impeller into the flotation cell. After sufficiently mixed with the air, the pulp will be released from the first half of the impeller periphery obliquely. Through the V- belt transmission, bring centrifugal effect to form the negative pressure. On the one hand, the flotation cell inhales sufficient air to mix with ore slurry; on the other hand it stirs ore slurry and mix with medication to form the mineralized froth. By adjusting the height of flashboard to control the liquid level and make the useful froth scraped by loam board.
Through the flow steady and the orientation by the stator, it comes into the entire cell. What’s more, the bubbles rise to the foam stability area, through the enrichment process, parts of the foam will overflow from the tumbling bay and come into the foam cell and another parts of the pulp will flow to the lower part of the impeller, and then stirred by the impeller, re-mixed to form the mineralized bubbles, the remaining slurry will flow the next slot, until eventually become the tailings.
