The moisture of materials affects output of ball mill

The adjustment of the granularity materials that is fed into the ball mill is one of the important links in the operation and it has great influences on the product quality and the output of the ball mill. After a series of research, we conclude the following opinion about the materials adjustment of the ball mill that is reducing the material moisture of the ball mill will facilitate the output of the machine.
(1) Reducing the moisture of the granularity of the materials will not only improve the accuracy of the ingredient, but give the powder grinding ability of the ball mill into play, improve the production capacity of the ball mill and reduce electricity consumption. When the moisture of the materials that is fed into the grinding machine is high, influenced by the temperature of the mill and the time of the materials staying inside the mill, the water of the materials cannot completely evaporate, and the water vapor that evaporates can also not able to be timely discharged, which will evitable lead to such phenomena as Raymond mill stickiness, ball stickiness, partition board and guide comb blockage, which will not only reduce the powder grinding efficiency, but damage the equilibrium state of the materials inside the grinding mill.
In addition, due to the differences of the easy-wearing parameters of all kinds of materials, the flow speed of the materials inside the mill, so that the materials that is easy to be ground such as clay and coal crusher will be firstly discharged out of the mill and the materials that is not easy to be ground such as limestone and iron raw materials will be remained inside the mill, as a result of which, the water fluctuation and saturation factors of the materials that are discharged out of the mill is sometimes high and sometimes low. Especially when too many materials stick on the mill, the mill will be easily saturated. If the mill is run without anything in it, since the limestone that sticks on the mill is discharged continuously, the KH value of the discharged materials will increase dramatically.
(2) Since the water content of all kinds of raw materials is different, when making up materials with the weight method, after the materials are matched up with a certain weight proportion, they seemingly satisfy the assortment requirement, but as a matter of fact, the water is also seen as raw materials. For this reason, even on the normal condition, the chemical component of the materials that are produced by the grinding miller cannot reach the stipulated requirement. And what is more, since the raw material homogenization storeroom is mixed with the air, if the water content of the raw materials exceeds 1%, raw material homogenization will not be realized.
